The Redwood Christian Invitational was the first set of basketball games for the Bulldog team since the GSBC Fine Arts & Athletic Competition in mid-November. With only Kyle Boruff and Zack Langston with varsity experience, the new team still needed to learn how to work together. The Bulldogs went home with a loss all three games they played in this tournament. [DR]

The Bulldogs played their first league game of the season against St. Lawrence Academy. The JV Bulldogs held the lead throughout the game and beat their opponent by 16 points. The Varsity had a tough loss even though leading scorer Kyle Boruff had a career high six three-pointers. [DR]

The first half of the game wasn't one of the Bulldog's best efforts, but after Coach Thompson's halftime talk, the team was motivated to do better. The Bulldogs showed much improvement in the second half and won the game by 2 points. [DR]

Again the Bulldogs needed to show much improvement. With two out of the five starters with injuries, the rest of the team needed to step up. Although Zack Langston had 25 points, other members of the team managed to contribute and hold the lead throughout the entire game. [DR]

In the first half of the JV game, the Bulldogs had a slow start. As time expired, junior Daniel Ryan was able to get a steal and an open lay-up to bring the team down by only 2 points. The Varsity team was able to maintain the lead against the Eagles throughout the entire game. By the end of the night, the Bulldogs stole a victory by 38 points. [DR]

In the first half of the game, the JV team looked as if they gave up early, but in the second half they proved that they could have kept up with the Crusaders by improving the way they played. The Varsity was able to maintain a lead early in the game. With captain Zack Langston receiving early fouls and being forced out of the game, the Bulldogs lost by 28 points. [DR]

The games for both JV and Varsity were turned around for the Bulldogs. The JV Bulldogs were able to steal a win by two free throws thanks to Andrew Martinez. The Varsity team played a good game without senior co-captain Zack Langston, but the Eagles fought back and won the game by 2 points. [DR]
